Do you have a ‘learning culture’ in your organization?

In today’s organizations, learning is part of the norm. This is why it is so important to ensure that the people you hire into your company, have the right level of ‘learning agility’. Technology and systems in the world are advancing so quickly and the workplace is right at the centre of it.

I hear it so often that when an organization changes systems or tools, employees respond by saying “this was not here when I was employed”. Here is the truth – unless your organization can master the new ways of doing things, it may as well get ready to close doors soon. This is the harsh reality. Unfortunately, many employers fail to defend their stance here… it is a critical point.

What are you doing to ensure that staff are supported in developing the high performing learning culture as individuals and as teams? Are you leading by example? Is this something that is already within your organisational culture?

If not – do take the opportunity to build and nurture the right ‘learning culture’ in your company, which by-the-way, is a sub-set of your organisational culture.

TIP FOR TODAY: Hire the right people, recruit more for attitude as opposed to skills/current competence and secondly, build an ongoing ‘learning culture’ as part of your organizational culture. This way, you will be on your way to success and survive the wave.
